So! It's been a while and I thought I'd give some kind of update.

I'm still living on a couch at a friend's... not really a big deal to me, since we'll be getting a two bedroom in July.

I've basically been just hanging out with friends in my spare time and reading LOTS of comics these days. My friends have gotten me hopelessly addicted to things like Deadpool, Captain America, Iron Man and Doctor Strange ^_^; Not that my love for Anime and Manga has deminished, I'm just learning to appriciate a genre I'd never really given a fair chance. (WTF Marvel?!? Why is all your best stuff the junk you DON'T whore out?!?!?!?!?!)

P.S.- I've seen Iron Man three times and enjoyed it each time. Though, now every time Obadiah says the whole 'Tony Stark built this in a cave!' line, I die laughing XD

Hope everyone is doing well and surviving the heat, or storms, or whatever the weather may be! (100 degrees + for me the last three or four days XO )

We had an awsome improv Hellsing Photoshoot Sunday morning. We went crazy for about 20 or 30 minutes while willing strangers captured it on film. Most of the convention was spent being silly with friends. The only thing I regret missing was Jouji Nakata, Voice of Alucard. ;_; but his autograph session was before I arrived on Friday.

I'm still recovering from con-induced sleep deprivation, so the best pics I took will be posted later.

OMFG! :D I had such a great time seeing Voltaire perform live Friday night. I sang and laughed , got danced with by a totally random girl, and one of my friends got an awsome hot kiss from this guy who 'adopted' us during the concert! ^__^

I'm almost done moving, but I have to find a home or homes for two of my cats. :( I know where they'll go if I am not capable of finding them a new homw myself so nothing bad will happen to them.

Well, I broke up with my girlfriend roughly three weeks ago. Not fun, not fun at all. there is a bitter assortment of reasons for this, but it's better to move on instead of beating an already thoroughly flayed horse.

In other news- not much to report. Work is no fun, and it's been raining on and off here in my corner of the Universe for about two weeks now. The rain has ruined the two times I've attempted to go to the local Rennaisance Faire. :(

On the bright side, the local anime convention is quickly approaching and I am now master of my own finances.

Hopefully, I'll have something more interesting to share on a later date.

So, this past Thursday was my birthday. ^_^ I had a picnic with friends and we spent almost the whole day outdoors. My girlfriend had baked me a cake, and this is what happened when Countess_Sam decorated it-->

In general, life has been a touch rough due to some personal issues, but my friends are helping me through it and hopefully I'll be able to get all the drama settled out in a couple of weeks.

I caught my rabbit on film eating dry pasta.

It wasn't so much the fact that he liked it that stunned me, it was the way he took the spaghetti noodle and munched continuously until it dissapeared.

So! I have all my cosplay plans set for the coming convention in May.

Young/Dark Walter

James from Pokemon ( hey, it was the only way I could get a friend of mine to go! XD)

And a super-secret cosplay. I want to compliment a friend of mine's cosplay, but I couldn't decide on someone straight out of Dracula. So, I picked a character who found her way into a modern creation that features an assortment of other Victorian literary characters. It gives me the chance to wear something deliciously Victorian and a scarf :)

I just hope I'll be able to pull off my Super Secret cosplay in time ^_^; I don't feel like cross-playing the whole con this year. But then Walter is done and James won't be hard to complete....

So, I'm finishing my Walter gloves for a small local cosplay event tomorrow. Once I'm done, Dark Walter will be 100% complete :D

Though I'm certain I'll be the chunkiest Walter cosplayer on the face of the planet, he's loads of fun to cosplay; and until I find a suitable replacement for myself ( as I plan on going back to cosplaying Integra eventually) I am the local Butler of Doomness.

At least I can happily say I won't see a double of myself at any of the local events I attend, including the local con. Well, I can't say that entirely; though the last 6 years I've been I can't recall any Walter cosplayers....

I also wrote a cheesy poem at work today... though I'm not sharing it here. (if you want, you can look for it, though I'm not going to tell you whether it's on my Deviantart account or my Fanfiction.net....)

I've never been one for writing poetry; though I do occasionally dabble in both reading and writing it.

I also got to tell some guy soliciting for a church I'm an Athiest with a smile. Yeah, I know your trying to reach out to the Spanish-speaking community, but don't try to hit on me by implying I could 'learn spanish' while attending the service. Especially with that slightly greasy smile you gave me with that comment.

So, through a couple of hellish days and much negotiating, I've managed to establish some sort of agreement about our relationship with my ~kind of?~ estranged girlfriend.

We both agree that our relationship; as it stood, was not a functioning one, and that we both have some considerable growing up to do before even thinking about being together again.

I'm going to work on being an independant adult, while she works on the anziety and other things that kept me from being more independent. ( I have some other things that have been bothering me, but I consider them personal and would only complicate things.)

It's going to be interesting to see how things work out, but we'll both be better for it, I'm sure.

Things are looking up, and that's a big plus. :D

Kind of just wanted to say, 'Hi, I'm alive.'

I've kind of thrown my life into a bit of dissaray by attempting to use some tough love on my girlfriend. She's much too clingy and needy; and an attempt at just a little more space has become more of a desperate run for permanent seperation for me.

The good news is that she finally realizes she has a problem.

The bad news is that she convinces me I'm better off single every moment she spends begging for me not to leave.

I need a vacation.

On the brighter side, I have some hilarious pics of my friends Sam and Jay from a trip to the Arboretum last week. Sam as well as Ash have ben my saving grace these last couple of weeks. It's nice to have friends who share my interests again. They've also put up with more than they should have, and I am at once grateful and a little bit ashamed.

Sorry guys. :( You've both been too good.

I don't know what I'm going to do tomorrow. I can't stay home and be begged and cried to until my gf goes to work, but I don't really have anywhere to go.

I think I'll go up to the art museum. It's free, afer all....

Hopefully, there will be better things to come in the future.

Try not to be so bitter. The only things that are good a little bitter are beer and chocolate.

I need to think I'm beautiful. Even if I don't feel it. True Beauty starts inside, after all.

Do at least 1 one thing to further some positive change in the world.

ALWAYS strive to be a little greener.

Make more people smile and less people frown.

Be proud of every achievement, even if no one else seems to be.

Don't get too busy to go back to school in the fall.

Go to the Art museum more often and try and leave even just a little change every time.

And, above all else- Love myself. I am NOT a failure. Even if things are hard, or stressful, or maybe just boring.
